Member Benefits

Information and Representation
The Australia Malaysia Business Council seeks to keep members informed on current economic and political developments in both countries which affect trade and business relations. The Council provides a forum for expression of opinions and concerns of its members, and makes representations as appropriate to other business associations and to all levels of government.

Networking Functions
Regular functions are organised for the benefit of members. These take the form of luncheons and seminars with expert speakers on matters of current interest.

Contact with Visitors from Malaysia
The Council regularly hosts delegations of business people and government representatives from Malaysia.

Trade Missions
The Council has occasionally organised Trade Missions to Malaysia aimed at a variety of industries.

Newsletter
An informative newsletter is issued on a regular basis notifying upcoming events, trade developments and other relevant information.

Trade Enquiries 
The Council acts as a clearing house for trade and investment opportunities by connecting appropriate parties.

Access to Experts
A panel of experienced business people is available to provide advice and assistance both in Australia and Malaysia.

Visitor Services
Special travel packages are available for members visiting Malaysia including airfares, accommodation and vehicle hire.

Communications
Members receive communications from both the national body and the Chapter of their postal address.
