Dinner with Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, Lord Mayor of Brisbane
Brisbane, Wednesday 7th March 2012 – Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will be the guest of honour at an upcoming dinner. Lord Layor Graham Quirk has been a good friend of the AMBCQ and has provided much moral support for our organisation. Brisbane City Council is more than 10 times larger than Melbourne City Council in terms of budget as well as in terms of population, and similarly it is six times larger than Sydney City Council. Its annual budget exceeds $3 billlion. As the leader of one of the largest directly elected local governments in the Asia Pacific region, Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will share his vision for the future of Brisbane.
